Amplifier: Reinstalling after 8 Years in Storage

Hello,

I have an ESX Amp that has been in storage for 8 years. I removed them from my previous car in 2005 and has not used it since then.

Is it safe to install this after 8 years - are there precautions to be taken during the install?

Should not be an issue as long as it was kept dry and sealed up to keep any thing from taking up residence inside it.

Was it stored in a controlled enviroment?

open it up and just check all your caps are intact, and if it all looks fine it sound be alright
