Amplifier recommendation

US amps Mike 1500

Audioqubed 1200

Those are the amps I would look at for good quality and a good price point for about 1500w which is around what you need. That is assuming you are wired at 1ohm. It's important to know that for sure before buying. There are plenty of other amps that can be on this list but these are off the top of my head.
yeah if u can spend $100 more peeps say that usa mike is a nice one..

I just ran across a bit of an older video by bigdwiz testing out the CAB 1600.1 getting some crazy numbers from it

he got a smidge over 4000 watts out of it in dynamic mode on the SMD amp dyno, so if you needed proof that the amp does what it says itll do, look no further

Ok guys so here's how it went. I couldn't help myself. I bought 2 l7s in a loaded enclosure to replace the l5s. 1500w rms at 2ohms.

I purchase the kxa1200.1 mono kicker amp. Pushes 1200 rms at 2 ohms. I want to know if this was a good decision. The only other option was the 1600.1 but its like a $900 amp. What do you guys think

no the other option was all the other amps we told u about., not a fan of l7's others maybe.. we were trying to help u with amp u didn't listen to that and didn't even ask about subs., have u heard of sundown? if thats a factory ported box no u did the wrong thing 3 different ways., and i'm the nice poor guy here...

The real issue you will have is the Kicker box... those are usually adequate but not really ideal... are you looking to get LOUD or LOW or a mix of the two?.. that Kicker amp probably cost what 2 CAB's would have... and you're Kicker amp is somewhat sufficient but lacks a little power... I probably would have looked for at least 2K to account for some power loss from box rise... this would have been better for those L7's... and affordable as well...

Seriously... look into a custom box... those Kicker loaded ones are not all that great...

Real talk, you wasted waaay too much money on overpriced mediocre crap that wont get you anywhere above 140 db.

yup, woulda been better off with 2 CABs and proper electrical to back them up. Kicker amp was a mistake even if it was $400. You would have been better off getting a brand new SQ2200.2 for around that money. And @BOOMINGRANDPA is right, we all tried telling you to buy x, y or z and you went with kicker. Having returned to the 12 volt game fairly recently (especially compared to some of the folks who chimed in to help out), i understand why you went with an established name, but that wasnt the best choice. Someone with an equal amount of money will be much louder than you in the exact same vehicle if they were to have followed our recommendations. Please dont take offense to this. We were only trying to help and now trying to illustrate the error of your choice

Ok so i really appreciate the input but the not the end of the world. Bought the amp with prime ill send it back np. So im hesitant to go with a brand that literally has bargain in the name, the website looks like my niece designed it and theres only 1 amp on the site. The reccomended rms is 1500 watts. I was only off by a couple hundred watts at 1200. I also do not want to blow my speakers. I want clean powerful sound.

With that being I will look into the sq amps. Any other suggestions. Also i was really into the wireless bass control. If u look into the bass control on the kxa amps there pretty sick but i digress.

Maybe consider this... it IS priced right and some extra power will be a good thing...

https://www.skaraudio.com/collections/rp-series/products/rp-2000-1d

It might be priced a little lower than the SQ amps... and they deliver the power advertised...

No "Bargain" in the name too... LOL!..
