Hi would this make a good amp rack in the back of my 90 crx or 91 civic hatchback ?

Its 29.5" long and 8" high which is perfect and I can mount my amps on both sides.

Im thinking of welding the feet to the floor of the hatch.

is it safe to mount the amps on metal ?

Whatta you think ?
