I am looking at the MBQuart Onyx 4.80 amp. The specs say I can run 2 channels at 4 ohms and get 80 watts per channel. And I can bridge channels 3 and 4 and get 320 watts for a sub. Is this true and how is that possible? The amp specs state it is 320 watts total with 4 channels. I have emailed MBQuart and called Sonicelectronix and they both basically say yes it is true but really didnt give much explanation beyond that.
