Hey,
I have the Alpine MRP-F450 amp currently running Type R 6.5 components up front and 6x9's in the rear.
I'm thinking about adding a sub.
Here's my question, if I continue to run the 6.5's from my apm and then bridge the other two channels for 200W rms to a sub, can I then run my rear speakers from the HU?
Is there any way I could add a sub without having to buy another amp to power it?
I'm not a huge bass freak so I don't think running a Type-R or Type-S sub off 200W RMS will be a problem, but I did pay for those 6x9's so i'd like them to work too.
I used to have Type S 6x9s which run at 50W rms, the Type R's run at 55, so I think they will still sound quite good off HU power.
Is this possible?
Thanks
