amplifier installation on my Honda acccord 2003

Hi

Greetings!

I would like to inquire if what amplifier would be compatible to the original audio system of the honda accord 2003? i just want a little boost and clarity? would you think an amp will help? If anybody could advise me how many channels of amp and power output would be enough? Thank you very much.

More than likely you'll need a 4 channel amp. You're just going to be amping your factory speakers?

Might be a good idea to just upgrade the speakers themselves, and then later on get an amp.

i have one that would work if you need it. im currently selling it.

its a us acoustics USX4065. a very, very nice amp for the money. its 65 watts X 4 but im not sure if your stock speakers can take that...they probably can tho.

LMK if you want it...if you have 4 speakers its a good match.

hmmmm 100 shipped if possible....its practically new and i dont want to lose too much money. i just want to have ~90 bucks left over to get a USX2080. even though shipping should be more than 10 bucks.

I might talk to you in a few days if it's still available. I just picked up some 6.5's but can't decide if I'm going to amp them...I picked a pair that sound the best running off just the HU. I think their only 45 watt rms so that USX might be an overkill....

ok just LMK if you want it.

i ran my speakers that were 40 RMS and 45 RMS in the back off of it but i was just careful with the gains and it sounded great.
