First of all , PHEW. I think i came a long way being 2 days on this forum from a rofosgate..to wanting to be a cool type r guy. Now I believe i have made my choice on a sub, now I need one for an amp.

the sub I am going with is the RE12 http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/reaudiore12.aspx?gclid=CLGPvNaTwJwCFSYoawodWw7-ng

It's good for me because I'm a novice and if this doesn't fit my needs, I can go up in the far future.

Okay , so please recommend an amp to power the SINGLE 12" re12 please

someone told me audioque 1000d or osomething

and please be kind with explanations //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I just got into car audio.

---

For my components i'm getting the SAX 125.2 and possible CDT classic's as the components.

unless you guys recommend getting an amp to power everything (sub, comps) someone recommended me this.. http://www.powermaxelectronics.com/products/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=225&idcategory=10

phew..what a step up i've come in 2 days?

If you want my advice, don't get an RE, get an SE.

Then the audioque AQ1200D would be perfect. Otherwise that amp would be overkill for just one RE.

that amp for the re/se and the components up front?

so i dont have to buy two amps?

even with the audioq1200d?

well i think for now im set on RE12 until i can search more to get se12.

either way.. what's a good amp then separate for JUST the sub.

i'm just listening to you guys and runninredline said RE is a better bang for my buck vs. the Type Arg.

But yeah, from what i'm learning i think im getting a sax 125.2 to run some decent 200$ comps..

and a RE or SE or a sub within the range of like 130$ 12" and an amp to run that shizzz

When comparing to a Type R, I'm sure he was talking about a RE SE sub. The RE RE sub is a very 'entry level' sub. The SE runs for around $150

if i'm not mistaken, he was talking about the 80$ one because he said the type arg isn't what im lookin for really.
