amplifier coming on when i turn off car

Well ive never had this issue before. But i just recently put bigger amp wire in the car for my new system, and everything was fine until now. When i listen to the car the system works, but then when i turn the keys off the bass just comes on a steady play and doesnt turn off until i unhook the power wire. I tried moving the remote wire to other places and it still did it? Does anyone have any clue on this??

check your wiring at the terminals and make sure no little strands are touching eachother. you can try redoing your ground but ideally just make sure that the current ground point is sanded down to bare metal

No when i remove the remote wire it goes off, but ive tried connecting it to some fuses and even with the car off right when i connect the wire to where the fuse plugs in it comes on..

then that is your problem my friend... not all of your fuses will shut off with your car... majority of them actually keep 12v potential.... its kind of a ghetto way to wire, but if you insist on doing it... use your fuse that runs your stereo, wiper blades, or power windows... all 3 of these fuses should only get power when your car turns on
