Amplification for the budget of a 17 year old?

I have replaced all 4 speakers in my 94 Nissan truck to a satisfying level. I have 2 subs rated at 300w RMS and 800w max for the pair. Don't ask about them, they're cheap but adequate.

How cheaply can I get out for an amp to power these really well and wiring? Any locations you'd direct me to?

Don't think I can help ya. Sorry.

What I mean is that the subs, in my opinion, aren't nice enough to merit the purchase of any amplifier that I'd be comfortable recommending.

Actually, the guy gave you a pretty reasonable option. A sony amplifier will do the job and it won't cost you much. You could also look into Boss, Dual or something of that nature.

And I'm sorry that I did what you expected, but I was completely honest. Anything I'd feel comfortable recommending would cost more than the subs are worth...even if I recommend something budget friendly.

So, do you want to argue about it, or do you want to go look at some Sony, Boss or Dual amplifiers? The choice is yours...

I do apologize to the second fellow. When I saw "Xplod" in a short reply, I assumed he meant to get an Xplod sub, not an amp. Just a lack of focus on my part.

I did say, originally, that I was on a small budget, so any amps that you would "recommend" would, I assume, be out of my price range. Perhaps I should have asked for what you audiophiles would NOT recommend.

Very nice budget amps. I have several on loan to friends. Two of them are being run at 1 ohm with no issues.
