Amplification for the budget of a 17 year old?

I have a profile amp that has been in use about three years now. never gave me any problems. It is in my father-in-laws trucks now and still running hard. To me they are very good budget amps

this may be the first time its ever been said, but an xplod amp paired with those subs would actually make the xplod a superior component in the setup

As for wiring, go to wal-mart and pick up a cheap 8 gauge kit. Probably be like $25.

Instead of running those tho, why spend a little more and pick up another sub?

Buy my Bazooka 8" amplified tube, you will be 1000x more satisfied and won't need to buy a seperate amp.

Instead of putting together a cheap system that you wont be satisfied with, why dont you save up for the system you want instead? The only problem you'll run into is being patient.

Sell the sub on craigslist and put a title like "BANGIN TRUCK SUB $1"

and a body like this:

"Yeah brah dis sub bangs relly hawd foda money. It may be little but its a banga. Lookin for 75 OBO".

You will surely get some idiot who will offer you 50. sell it to him and start off there. When selling on CL sound like an idiot. thats the key. I can recommend a 1000 50 dollar subs that would be better than that. Not trying to bash you man just trying to help you get it halfway right the first time, and besides, there is no better feeling than spending a couple hours hooking up a system to find out it blows. To fund a decent amp to pair it up, you could just sell some xbox games or whatever youre into. I promise it would be better to save up and have a 150-200 dollar sub/amp budget than roll with what you got. Nobody likes starting out on this website because of this lol. But again there is nothing better than a disappointing setup and or the smell of burnt subs.

EDIT: For the money you have. there are tons of people selling used amps and small subs for cheap here. 55bucks for a used E8 from sundown that would blow that Dual box to pieces.

Get the cheapest amp you can find to match the cheapest subs you found.

There is nothing wrong with those if that is all you got. They are not decent sub or even bottom of the line. those are more like paperweight subs. I have seen people use those on construction jobs. Their destruction would not start a bellyache, so guys could work without worries of ruinning something of Value.

Now dont get all pissy and bent out of shape if people look at you like your a crack head.

After all, this is a CARAUDIO forum filled with audiophiles that been in the game for 17+ years like myself, who know what the fuck we are talking about.
