I would say probably not. Stock speakers dont take much power and get distorted at higher volume levels. It all depends on the car though, but I would say no.
i would say it's night and day difference with respect to loudness. as posted above though, most factory speakers can't be pushed much and i'd be more inclined to blow them. for the trouble of installing an amp anyways just go ahead and upgrade the speakers...

x2 on both comments. stock speakers are "STOCK SPEAKERS" they are not used to be upgraded by adding an aftermarket amplifier. It's like powering 2 L7s with a stock headunit. Just let the internal amp of your aftermarket h/u to handle the power of the stock speakers. I suggest in upgrading ASAP.
