my amp worked for like a month and i blew a fuse and ever since then it wont work. i replaced the fuse and check all the other fuses. also the deck and amp fuses are fine. my wire running from the battery to the amp is good. but for some reason it doesnt read 12V, the fuse in there is fine too. my remote wire is hooked up properly since the amp worked before. im stumped on this one. any help is appreciated. i know that i have a good ground as well

The amp doesnt read 12 volts?

What caused the fuse to blow?

Do you have another amplifier to test and make sure the connections are good?

What kind of amp?

Check voltage at the amplifier on your power wire. Do you have 12 volts? If you don't you may want to check your battery connections to be sure they are still in good shape, if they are then try replacing the entire fuseholder at the battery. I have seen several instances where these have made for poor connections. If this still does not solve your problem then I would suggest running a new power wire with a new fuseholder you may have a short or break in the wire. Hope this information helps.

Does the amp go in to protect and stay there? If so, you could have some internal damage caused by whatever. If you have another amp, see if that works with your system to determine if something is wrong with the amp itself.
