Shawn

A Virtual box is a box that can handle alot and will make the bass alot more clear. You can go to Virtualtechnologies.com and read up on them they are the best boxes I have heard

Shawn;)

Well, http://www.virtual-technologies.com does work. They are just ported boxes, nothing special at all. And you should never buy a pre-fab ported box, they should always be made specifically to your subs specs.

And for the record, ported boxes will not make the bass more clear. The port will pull air out at the same time the woofer pushes air to reinforce the bass and give around 3 DB gain, but consequently SQ is lost. The port size acts as a high pass filter, to cut off lower frequencies, or the whatever frequencies you dont want to hear, all depending on what the box is tuned to. This is why they have to be built exactly to the subs specs.

not really true. normally true but Sq side not always true. port your Sql subs with a 33hz or lower tuning and you will have almost the exact same Sq as you will with sealed box. also that 3db gain is a theoretical 3db not always going to be 3. also those box's don't look too bad but they are more geared for daily driving ported box's due to none of them are tuned higher than 38hz which means best note's to play in them are around 40-45hz a lil low for most SPL burps.
