Amp wont turn on!

first off vehicle is a 2007 galant SE ,I am trying to use A pac loc sni 35 the trunk model one. I ran two positive wires from the battery, one consisting of knukonceptz kollosus 4AWG and anonther 10AWG wire. I have the grounds located in in the trunk.

With my DMM i checked the voltage and I was geting 12.4V into the wires before I pluged them into the amp. Once I put the power and ground into the amp the voltage drops to 1.5.

Any ideas???
