Amp Wiring Kits?

srsly
Ok so i'm not sure what amp kits i'm going to need. I have two amps. One for the sub, and one is a 2 channel for a set of components.

My amps are a NINe.1 and a NINe.2

NINe.1 will be pushing about 1200 watts, and the NINe.2 will be 100x2

Could someone please tell me what kit will work with these amps/amounts of power? i'm not sure what size to use for them.

I would also assume once i know the size i can just pick one of the kits from knukonceptz right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Thanks. sorry for my ignorance lol...

Yeah I'd reccommend the PKD1 by Kicker. Knu wire is good for the price, but Hyperflex is by far the best/easiest wire to use on earth. Highly reccommend it, and there is a guy on here selling it for either $90 or $100 shipped.

oh ok. Lets say i cant afford the PKD1... would I be good with the PKD4? or would that have bad effects on the electrical?

If the PKD1 is only necessary if i plan to upgrade, i'd rather just get the PKD4. But if the PKD1 has some benefits in my application, i'll do it.

Thanks again.

You will only loose a little power using the 4 guage, but go for it if you dont plan to upgrade.

The second batt helps to since it will be located closer to the amp( i hope). Do the big 3 if you havent already.

Some say you can use 4 ga, but imo if you are running over 1000 watts, you want to have 0. It never hurts to have too big of wire, but if your wire is too small, it will get hot, lose signal, etc. I imagine you would be fine with the 4, but I wouldn't reccommend it. Easier just to do 1/0 the first time!

Like he said..........

If you never ever plan on upgrading, go with the 4. If you hang around here long enough, you will.

Purchase

(1) 0 Gauge Wiring Kit (Power, Ground, Remote, RCA)

(1) Spare set of RCA cables (2 if it isn't included in 0ga kit)

(1) Fused Distro Block

(1) Non-Fused Distro Block

(5ft) 4 Gauge Red Power Wire

(5ft) 4 Gauge Black/Silver Power/Ground Wire

Run 0 Gauge Power from Battery to fused distro block. Run 0 Gauge Ground from grounding point to non-fused distro block. Run both sets of RCA's/Remote from headunit back. Plug one RCA into comp amp and other in SW amp (make sure you mark them when running after headunit). Cut small piece of remote wire off (distance between amps) and spin it together with remote from headunit. Place 1 end in each amp. Run the 4ga power wire from the fused distro to both amps Power and 4ga ground wire from non-fused distro to both amps. Done.
