Amp turn on problem

my amplifier seems to have trouble turning on. i turn the key for radio and the amp doesnt turn on, if i turn on my engine it will start sometimes and other times start driving or rev my engine and itll turn on. is this a problem with batt, alt, or just a cold start problem? also when i drive it goes out sometimes and i hear a really loud pop every time it does. the built in fan is always on in the amp btw. amp is a 1000watt cadence w/ a fi q.

almost sounds like a loose connection on your remote or ground wire

if the remote wire was loose wouldnt that mean the fan on the amp would also go in and out with the amp? the fan is built inside the amplifier but anyways ill go double check the wire. thx

oh the fan stays on all the time no matter what? then that means your amp is on and has power.

if thats the case and your amp isnt turning off, then it will end up being a looser speaker connection i would say.

just gotta troubleshoot, if your amp has power and stays on full time, then it is something between the amp and the sub
