amp tuning? subsonic???

hey guys i have a DD M3 powering 2 DD1508's in a 1.8 cube box tuned to 38hz. what is the subsonic filter , what does it do, and how should i set it on amp? also what should crossover be set at?

also subs are seeing 1000 rms each 2k total

set the subsonic around 30hz

it will help keep your subs from bottoming out....and damaging them

Subsonic keeps freq levels that are too low from getting to your subs, generally with ported boxes its nice to set the subsonic 10 hz under whatever your box is tuned to, so since your tuned to 38hz, set the subsonic to 28hz. by crossover do you mean High pass, i would set it at anything between 60 and 80, it dependz on where your mids are crossed.

set the lowpass o the amp around 80hz...make sure its a clean signal going to the amp...DON'T USE DECK OR EXTERNAL CROSSOVERS BEFORE THE AMP........OR YOU WILL SCREW UP THE SLOPES

your subsonic is the high pass...crossover...the reg crossover is your lowpass...with the 2 you set up a band pass for your sub
