amp trouble

When I turn my amp off it makes a loud thump before it shuts down. I have checked the ground twice, no problem there. What could cause this.

It's a 2 channel Lanzar. If anyone wants to laugh go ahead it's temporary, I'm gettin an Adassa Warlord very soon.

You still might have a bad ground, try grounding somewhere else.

i bet its the on / off circuit in the amp is all dont worry about it your replacing it

Could be...could also be a bad ground.

Doesnt matter if it's getting replace.

Last time i heard a loud thump from my amp, it went up in smoke.

but you can sometimes here a thump from the subs when the amp turns off or on

i had the same loud thump when i turned mine off, it ended up being the ground on the radio, its a 5100 pioneer. Changed that and it stopped

Well the thump its self comes throw my sub. It did it once before and I did something that made it stop, but I have no idea what it was that I did. Same amp and sub. All I did was move the amp to a different spot to mount it.

My setup does the same thing. Its just when the amp turns on or off that i hear it. My old setup i had a us acoustics usx600d or something like that and it had a "soft turn on" and i never experienced it.

so my guess is just the amp as it turns on/off
