Amp too powerful for speakers??

I have a JL Audio 320x4 rull range 4 channel amp that powers 2 6x9 9622i Infinity speakers and an Infinity 6020cs component system in front. I'm gonna be switching the speakers to Polk because of the harsh highs they have. I know infinities are known for having harsh highs but I'm also wondering if the amp could be too powerful for this setup. Any thoughts on this?

No such thing as too much power. Too much hand on the volume knob is a different story.

Set gains accordingly and enjoy the overhead more power provides.

Adjust the gains accordingly.
