Amp to toggle switch

I am tryin to wire a amp up to a toggle switch so i can turn my amp on and off when i please. Could some one help me?

simple one side of the switch to constant 12v and the other side to the remote turn on

Assuming you only want to have the amp turn on when the headunit is on, then just cut the remote wire and put a switch in there.

Go with this, if you do the other you could hit the switch on accident when getting out of your car or something and kill your battery.
