amp to push 3 12" L7's?

I just bought 3 12" Kicker L7's in a sealed box. I was wondering if anybody could give me recommendations on a good amp for the price that will push these speakers. I drive a 1992 Honda Accord and I dont want to have to upgrade my alternator and battery... Thanks

Well to wire them in parallel that would put u at around .67 ohms or parallel series and have a 2.67 ohm load,I dont know to much about that brand,but I dont think it will be able to handle a .67 ohm load.....U need 2250 watts right? at .67 or 2.67 I dunno any thing of the top of my head,maybe try a Orion 2500d,or talk to polecat and tell him the box u have planned I am sure he could help u fing an amp.

Yea I'm trying to figure out whats the best amp for the price. I kind of wanted to stay with kicker but the prices are crazy. Does anybody know of any good website for car audio?

I have another question. Before I had 2 kicker comps and they sounded really good. I decided to build a ported box for them. When I went to go hook them back up when i turned the gain up on the amp the speakers went out of control and didnt keep the beat of the song. hooked the speakers and amp up in a different car and they were fine. I figured it was the HU because i could hear the cd spinning through the subs. What could of caused this to happen? I'm asking this because i just put a new HU in and the rca outputs on the HU touched the HU itself and it started smoking. I replaced the fuse and the CD player works fine. Is this what happened the first time? is it gonna cause my speakers to do the same thing? HELP

miss setting on the gain, not matched to the HU

the Kicker KX25001 weill do max power into a 2 ohm load...

Your definitely up for an alternator upgrade! No avoiding it running this much power...

granted, you wont be seeing your stereo equipments full potential with that vehicles factory electricals. i'd definately consider upgrading your electrical system (at least the big-3).
