Alright guys, in my 98 dodge intrepid i have two kicker comp 15's, i had my friend's 1600 watt power acoustik in there, and this ***** was setting off car alarms, these subs bump.
anyways, i had to give my friend's amp back, but before i did my battery died (after about 4 days with the amp, obviously it was draining my battery).
Anything over 1500 watt should be accompanied by another battery or capacitor, so i've heard. So i was thinking about getting a Sony XM-D9001GTR. The perfect wattage i'm looking for at a very good price.
Do you think my battery will be fine? (As long as i bump while i'm driving, i say this because the alternator charges your battery, which everyone knows).
Here the link to the amp:
