Amp that can handle a .5 load

The SAZ-1500D does not cost $800.. That will buy you a SAZ-3000D..

I'd get the SAZ-1500D, which should be in your price range, even more so if you will get a used one off classifieds here or somewhere else.

If not, look into MMATS. I know they have some 1/2ohm rated amps (3000.05, 3500.05 are the two I know off the top of my head).

Running 0.5ohm load is not just that easy though. Make sure you can keep your voltage up, or the amp will be up in smoke(or protect if your lucky) before you can even break in the subs.

Why wouldn't you just find an amp that does the power you need at 2 ohms? I'm guessing they're dual 2 coils, since you can't get .5 ohm impedance off two single coil 2ohm drivers.
