Amp Terminals?!? Help

well i already have the subs, so getting new ones is out of the question. and ive decided to go with a Power Acoustik OV1-5500D, it'll put out 2500w at 2 ohms, this way i can get the 1250w to each sub, while still spending under $350... thanks for the help tho fellas.

and silverbane i was seriously considering getting 2 separate amps, however money is an issue and i can spend $150 less and get 500 more watts.

I can pretty much guarantee that you will NOT get 2500 watts out of it, especially since it only has 150 amps of fuses and requires 4 awg wire.

how can an amp company say that the rms is 2500 @2ohm and then it not produce that? false advertising?
As long as it produces that under their own conditions, they can state it. As for the amp, I recommend you look for a Crossfire VR2000D used. It is a true 2000 (Closer to 2400) watts rms amp at 2ohms. And it requires more wire and 240 amps worth of fusing to run properly.

ahh, alright, thanks alot for the help man. i REALLY want to give the subs MORE than 1000 a peice, if u think that the crossfire will be pushing close to 2400 then thats perfect.
