amp takes a second to turn on?

anyone out there have an amplifier that takes a second after your music comes on for the amp to turn on. Ive looked at the amp, and the green light comes on when i turn my car on, but the amp doesnt kick on and put sound outta my subs for lik 2 or 3 seconds. if not, does ne one know why this may be happening?

so of the new amps/hu's out right now have a thing that will keep them quite for a few extra seconds so you dont hear a loud thud as everything turns on

yah my da amp does that "soft" turn on the kenwood makes a pop noise normal

When I turn my HU on my rear deck 6x8's (hu powered) turn on immediately, my component amp turns on in 2-3 seconds, and my sub amp takes 2 or 3 times that long. Turn on noise is non-existent.
