Amp suggestions

Ok I have 2 x 12 inch RE XXX SUBS. dual 2ohms voice coils.

Now I am looking for an amp that will run atleast 1000w rms to each sub any suggestions?

Amps I have found worthy of pushing these subs to the level I am looking for are

1) JBL BPX 2200.1 Will do 950w rms into each sub

2) KICKER KX 2500.1 Will do 1250w rms into each sub.

Now anyone else know of a better one then the 2 listed please let me know.

And out of the two which one would be the better amp?

Never looked into boss.

Will have to do that.

So U think the kicker is better then the JBL?

Boss if fokin garbage he's fokin with you. That kx2500 would be nuts hooked up to the 2 xxx. There are many amps out there that puts out 2k-3k watts at 2 ohm. How much you wanna spend?

Ive heard Orion 25000D's do very nicely for a reasonable price

but out of those two i would choose the Kicker.

Orion's R nice but only puts out 850w rms per sub.

I would need 2 and dont really have the room 4 2 monsters.

Have about 2000 to spend on a sub amp.

wat r u smokin? The orion puts out 2500 watts, thats 1250 watts per sub!

but if you have $2000... you can prolly go with the Kicker and not regret a thing

EDIT: NM i just saw you have dual 2 ohm subs

Ya the ORION puts out 2500watts but at a 1ohms load.

And my RE xxx subs r dual 2 ohms coils so when wired I achive a 2 ohms load.

And at 2ohms the orion does 1700w rms so 850w rms per sub.

I know nothing about tuning a sub.. but the recomended box for these subs is tuned for 30-35 hz

But the crossover on the kicker can only goes as low as 50hz.

Will that be a problem?

one of those would prolly do the job. Because you are running 2 subs does not really mean divide rms power in half. rms is dependant on the ohms if your subs are at the right ohms they are recieving close to that amps rms EACH
