amp suggestion

Just bought the infinity kappa component set

The tweeters are listed as 50w rms, and the 6x8 is 90w rms

I plan on putting the tweeters in the front and the 6x8 in the rear, (subs in future)

I was thinking about a 200 w amp for the 6x8s and run the tweeters off the HeadUnit(45x4)

What do you guys think? A 2 channel amp + HU, or maybe a 4 channel amp without using the HU..

And if anyone has suggestions on a affordable amp

I'm confused! Is this some kind of strange component set with 6x8's tweets and crossovers? I've never heard of a component system like this (then again there are a lot of things I have never heard of). It sounds to me that you are confused about what a component system is. One thing I do know for sure is that your head unit isn't putting out 45x4. You are really looking at about 17x4 rms wattage. Tell us a little more about what you have and someone more knowledgable than I will surely help.

The component set consists of two tweeters, two 6x8s and 2 crossovers,

(Infinity Kappa 680.7CS )

I ripped out all the stock speakers.

I still have to purchase a head unit and an amp.

Putting the tweeters in the front, and the mids in the back, sounds like a really bad idea to me. They are meant to be kept relatively close together.

Also, use the crossovers, don't try going active. As for cheap amps, Profile makes pretty good budget amps. Here's one that will put out 160wrms x 2 @ 2 ohms for $76, which would be good for that component set:
