Amp suggestion for RF p3d212

I currently have a power acoustik gothic gt1600 amp connected to a RF p3d212

The problem is I don't think this amp is pushing what it says it can, because my subs sound weak in my toyota celica.

So I think I'm gonna buy a new amp with true wattage and I came here to get some suggestions on a reasonable price amp..... Sum where in the range of $200

Well, are you entirely sure it's the amp? I mean, upgrading from that amp is definitely gonna help, but is your enclosure built correctly as well?

How much power are you looking to throw at it?

Up your budget and get an incriminator audio 5.1 it's like 289 iirc and it out performs the t500-1 Rockford has

And the box is prolly the problem

Look at MSW | Car Audio Stereo, Car Subwoofers, Car Amplifiers and Speakers and look into the 2cube at 32hz box it is built well and is reasonably priced.

Get both of these an I promise you will be happy

I got a box from eBay that's 1.9 cubic feet and tuned to 33hz ..

Ok my dub is dvc 2 ohms, so that means I would have to wire it at 1 ohms to get 750watts ? How good is this amp? Does it get hot? The rockford p3d212 is 600 rms

Amp is very good for the money and by far better than that power acoustik junk, and yes wire down to 1 ohm and set your gain on the amp appropriately.

Ok thanks I'm gonna look into it and also see wat other people suggest. But wow I wish I would of joined these forums sooner this brand has some nice subwoofers!

Yes the do have some nice subs and there tons of info here on these forums.
