Amp Suggestion for 2 Brahma 15"s?

BTW, with that modded amp you could run them in .5 ohms, then they would be getting over 2K each

Isnt 2000 each sub 2 much? I thought it waz 1600 rms......My budget is as cheap as possible, but i want good power so im more worried about a good amplifier.

You can wire it to 2 ohms then.

amount of power you want per subs depends on the box size, if you have a large box 4cu ft. ported, you need less than 800watts for 1 sub.

wouldnt you need an 2ohm or .5 ohm not 1ohm cuz brahmas are only dual 2ohm...and finding 2kw @ 2ohm is freakin expensive

ghetto boy is right.....it is either .5 or 2 ohm load with those subs wired together. This amp would throw over 750 and then some per sub which is not too bad for a Brahma in the right enclosure.
