AMP Sugestions

I'm having a hard time deciding on a new system. I'm looking at getting 1 or 2 sundown sa12's, I want something loud but with good sql. I have an alpine mrx m110 will that be enought to make those subs bump or will I need something bigger? Also does the head unit have anything to do with the sub output?

Wrong place. But let's see. The amp is good for one sub maybe two. But if you want really loud. Then prolly need a new amp 2 subs is your best bet here. Have you done any electrical Mods ? Ie big 3. Ho alt

Batteries. This will determine how big if an amp. Also what car ?

Prolly 1500-2000 rms is the biggest you can go without doing major upgrades. Like an alt You'll still need a big 3 kit and maybe a agm battery at least

Would I be better off buying anoth identical amp and running the subs seperatly or just get a new amp with more rms? The one i have I believe is only pushing 600

Single amp would be best for cleaner installation, space saving and less phase issues or less hassles with strapping two amps together.

You'd want more power on tap then needed with those subs. most 1000 watt rms amps wont make 1000 because of impedance rise and voltage drops you'll most likely see around 500-700. This is the reason why lots of people say "oh my sundown SA __ can take double, no, triple! the power.

What would be better a sundown saz-1500 or alpine mrx-240

If you are going to run a 1ohm system, sundown. If you are going to run a 2ohm set up, alpine.

That's hard to say because I don't know the first thing about ohms. I've tried reasurching but it just made me more confused

If I went 2 ohms and got the alpine would that be too much power for daily use? I want to be able to use them daily without having to worry about blowing them
