amp suddenly stopped working

Could be. What kind of amp is it? Were you blasting your music high when the amp suddenly stopped working?

PLA4478 Pyle 4000 watt. No I wasnt blasting it. I turned my car off and the subs werent playing with the music. I went back to see what it could be and no green or red lights on. I have the amp set about half way up and the sub setting on the hu at -1. When I scrolled through the audio setting on the head unit the "sub level" didnt even show up.

Checked fuses on amp and head unit, they are still good

i meant they were playing the night before then I turned it on the next day and they werent playing

Maybe something got loose while driving the night before? Did you set gains properly with the DMM method or did you just guess with your gains? half way could be clipping, which can cause the amp to blow. You should keep sub setting to 0. You have to realize that Pyle is not a good brand to rely on and that it's not actually 4000w true rms.

Did u check power on the amp turn on/ remote @ the amp? Did u check the ground @ the amp.

On your radio settings turn your sub output back on...

Using a Digital Multimeter.. You have to match your gains with your headunit.

lol done this before, drove me nuts, I must have done it by accident when scrolling thru the h/u.
