AMP + SUB power question

Ok, I have two 500Watt RMS, 1000WP2P Orion P series subwoofers.

Doesnt this mean I can hit them with a 1000Watts RMS amplifier while their bridged without blowing them ?

I understand P = I^2 * Voltage but since the amp only rates itself in watts .. err I havent done ohm law in a long time.

I ended up figuring it out when I was sleeping and woke up with my own answer. I was tired when I made this post.. here at work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
