AMP+SUB+HeadUnit Problems

AMP ~ KAC 8152D

SUB(s) ~ KFC W3003

Headunit = KDC MP428(dunno if that right model)

I have been trying to get my sound system just right, however I can only use one sub, and it sounds nice and gets real loud. I was wondering why I can't have both subs on it?

AMP Specs:

1100 Watts Max Output

300 Watt ~ 4 Ohm

550 Watt ~ 2 Ohm

SUB Specs:

600 Watts Max

160 watt RMS

4 Ohm capacity each

Could anyone tell me why I can't have both subs connected and sounding good, I fooled around with the knob on the amp that indictated sensitivity input, and the EFC or w/e and they change the amount of bass coming out but it doesn't seem to get as pumping as just one sub. Is it because its not pushing enouhg power from amp. Or am I conncting it wrong. I tried doing the Series connections between the subs, and parallel, both sound bad. =/

Yup, I have two + and - terminals on the amp, I firsted wired each sub to each terminal as it says in manual, than I tried both subs to same terminal does same thing? could 600 watts from each sub be draining hte 1100 watt too much?

try this just to make sure..get a 9v battery...unplug the speaker wire from the amp. take that speaker wire and put the - on the - and the + on the +. If subs move in opposite directions they are wired incorrectly and thats why they sound like shit..
