amp strong enough?

i have an A12001DJ its a Mono D amp(audiobahn), and i also have two ALUM12J rated at 1000RMS each and are also audiobahn. My questions is, is this amp strong enough to push these subs to the limit? or fairly close to the limit? thanks in advance

No.. If your subs are D2 it will push 1

well, that amp is rated at 1500x1.... at 1 ohm... so if your running it at 1 ohm, with good electrical, it should push those subs pretty well.... with audiobahn subs, you dont really want to overpower them, or "push them to their limit"... thats when you'll get that VERY familiar smell, lol

The bad news is, those subs will never handle 1000w.

The good news is, that amp will never produce anything close to that.

Do you trust that amp to do rated? IDK about it, but I havent seen anything decent from them since I was in high school

It looks like those subs are Dual 6 ohm? In that case you'll want to wire them down to 1.5

no i dont... but i also dont trust those subs to take rated either... so, yea, i think its a good match... not saying its a good set up... but a good match for each other, lol

okay thanks for your input everyone, hopefully i will have the setup running in a couple of days waiting for my sub box. I will let u guys know what i think about this setup
