amp shutdown?!?!?

make sure the amp is stable at the ohm load you feeding it.

if it shuts off then comes back to life after a few seconds it may not be getting enuff power, does it take longer to shut off when the cars running?

i have tried grounding in three different spots. same results.

the power is ok and the ohms are cool.

car running car shut off no difference.

what im gonna end up doing is going back to the stereo shop and exchanging it. while i was at work today i called them and told them the story and they thought wiring as well but i put amp in another car and same results. most likely a faulty amp.

fyi:

so it ends up what Decipha said was right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bowdown.gif.b85b23b82970bd22fb6b549c3392f016.gif . . . I let my brother wire the subs to the box and he went one voice coil to the box and so they were running on what like 1\2 or 1 ohm or however that works. thanks for the idea Decipha.

Yet another reason to only install stereo's with one person not two unless both well trained. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif
