Do you check voltage at inlet power ?

Do you have to insert a cd in the hu will good bass sound ?

You check the voltage at the speaker terminals on the amp, make sure it's on ac voltage.

And insert a test cd and play a few tones so the average is about the right voltage for the rms of your woof.
