Amp selection help

i dont know any other site that even sells plate amps. i know plenty about car audio but not where to get anyhting for home audio. But my plan would be to have that run an apline type r for my dorm. is that a solid amp? or is it a POS? what are good brands/sites? thanks

Other very common ones are sold at Parts Express.

The Dayton Audio and the Bash plate amplifiers are both pretty solid.
