Ok, I'm getting three AQ SDC2.5 15" Subwoofers.
Rather than tryping out the specs, here is a link to the subwoofer's page:
http://www.audioque.com/aq/SDC2_5_Series.htm
In the above link you should see that im going to need around 600W RMS for each sub, totaling a bitc*in' 1800W RMS min.
So heres what im dealing with:
I've got a seperate battery just for the subs.
Im using 1/0 gauge wire along with some 4gua rockford for all the wiring.
My three 15" sub encloser is ported.
Im driving a 97 chevy pickup, (encloser in place of backseat).
I'm looking to get the amp under $500, but if i MUST go over, so be it..
So what amps are going to be choice for powering these subs under the above specs. Is it safe to go with a really high powered amp like a KICKER2500? Really I just want to know what you guys would do.
And just ask if you need any other information.
-Thanks
