Amp(s) for two Pioneer Premier TS-W3002SPL

So, what do you guys think. As I nkow that an amp that pushes 2k watts, would absolutly kill my wallet, i guess im looking for two amps that push 1k or at least 800. because these subs are rated for 1000 continious on another site. so yeha.

anyways, can anyone reccomend something decent, and fairly cheap

Unfortunately, those subs are a bit power hungry. I'd suggest an amplifier that does at least 1200 RMS. If you give them anything less, you might as well downgrade the subwoofers because you will waste a lot of potential. Try to look around for a Power Acoustik D2400 (I think thats what they are called). It should cost you less than $300 new with warranty and still give you the power you need. Also look into a Hifonics Brutus, or possibly even a Directed 1200D. None of those amps will give you the full potential, but will come awfully close to it.

So two of those, that are just under 300 a peice? ouch. ill have to think about that one... shesh thats alot

but can you toss me a link, because im still trying to get the ohms thing down. i know that these are two ohms (per voice coil) so 4 ohms total per sub? and then one amp, so ill need a 8ohm amp?

but two amps..

man, lol i just dont know, so just give me a link, so i have an idea, please.

awesome, thanks dude. man, some of those are nice. But I think ive decided to get a type r, (yeah i change my mind alot, lol). anyways, these amps will word for those, so either way, awesome!
