amp repair

so ive got 3 amps that i had intended on dropping off at dbr to have fixed, well turns out that not only do they not accept dropoffs and are going to more commercial business, 2 of the 3 amps are on the "do not repair" list for them, so they wont even touch them. So im trying to figure out the best way to have these fixed.

MTX 1501D

TMA 1000.1

what should i do?

There is a Kicker rep on here, I think his SN is Polekat, I would contact him about getting the Kx fixed.

I didnt know dbr had a "Do not repair" list?

Ok, scratch that, Polecat's last thread said he was taking a break from the forums, he did say you could email him, but, I dont see his email address listed but he said he could be reached there.

getting amps repaired isn't cheap.Every one I had was 125-175 to repair and that was local.Parts are cheap if you can do it yourself.Its the time and labor that costs so much.

definitely not cheap to fix amps. what in the hell did you do to that kicker, the things are bulletproof?

Bought it blown.

getting amps repaired isn't cheap.Every one I had was 125-175 to repair and that was local.Parts are cheap if you can do it yourself.Its the time and labor that costs so much.

i understand that, but i was expecting around 100 bucks period per.

ill buy the 2500 Kicker

shoot me a price and ill consider, although id rather fix it and use it.

no not yet, i was going to use dbr because they are local, like 45 min from me.
