So how do you manage to blow out a 6000GTi? hahaha...

Did you contact JBL and ask them for an authorized repair shop? If anything shoot dB-r a PM and see if he can fix it.

Im really not sure. He told me that it looked like a freak accident. JBL will NOT repair these amps any more I have tried and tried and they refuse. Ill see what dB-r has to say about it.

DBR is the only ones i will ever let touch my amps and in the event their backed up I'll wait chris truly is the Messiah of amp repair

i sent them my rd 1750.1

got it back in 3 weeks, worked for the next 3 months and i sold it onto the next owner...

I have a feeling he wont want to either, but hey worth a shot. If he doesnt I will have a 90lb paper weight lol.

I had one amp up to ARC as a DD in warrenty repair took 2 months and was long over due. DD does their own now or has someone that does it close by. Last DD repair was 3 weeks start to finish.

DB-r kept my 4k for better then a year and got it kind of fixed. works ok at 2ohm but cuts out at 1.

He won't touch my USA-2000X either but I don't blame him, I guess it's a nightmare to repair those amps.

That's so weird that JBL/Crown won't repair the once biggest and baddest amp ever made a few years ago, maybe Crown can do it but I doubt it since they make pro audio amps.

The car audio scene is in need of a BIG repair shop with more than just one guy working on amps, but I can't even begin to imagine the education needed to know how to repair any amplifiers AND have it be reliable after the repair. It'll probably be a good ongoing business too...
