amp relay question

Okay i bought a pioneer avic-n2 and it didnt come with auxillary adapter which has the amp relay wire, now someone told me i can wire it to my remote wire and it will still work, is that true? will i still be able to use the remote?

i thin you can get it to work with a latching relay. the pwr ant wire latch the relay on till you turn thr engine off. or you can just buy the rca harness from a member, pac parts,ebay, or pioneer

well i dont want to pay 50 bucks for one, anyone else have any input if the remote wire will work
