amp recomendations

[TRANSAMCHARGER2 10+ year member]

I need a 1000 watt amp with a subsonic filter to match up to a 15" kicker L7. My budget is 250-300 dollars. I dont have the sub yet so i can go down to any ohms.

get the bx1500, its cheap and if u run it at 12v u should get around 1300 to 1500 watts rms

Dont shop from Ike your better off going from ebay I know of quite a few people who've gone through them and got ripped. I would suggest a , Memphis Power Reference 1000.1 from http://www.woofersetc.com

i owned both companies amps, the jbl seemed to be better, but any other opionions would help and what warrenties do these have?

They both sound roughly the same. I own both companies as well. YOu cant fail with either. They both put out 1000+ @ 2 ohms, and will stay cool. Both very reliable. Good luck

if u want 1 ohm go with a memphis 16-mc1000D..........mofo fugging solid amp for the money..they used to go for 300-350 shippe on ebay but since memphis released a new model (cosmetically, doubt thers anythign differant internally) the prices have gone down...stay away from the older 16-ST1000D...get the 16-MC1000D......for 250 bucks that a steal for such quality....clean reliable power....better than orion IMO.....
