amp rack wiring?

If you are going to build an amp rack that the amp is going to be flush mounted behind a panel would you still hide the wiring? by hide I mean have it all run behind the rear of the amp rack by having holes in the amp rack where the wires attach to the amp.

Or would you just neatly wire the amp/amps and contain the cover panel to hide it all?

 
I have done both ways. Part of the benefit of using the flush trim panel is that you don't have to allow room to run behind or under your amp mount then drill holes. You may just want to run the wire neatly then cover with trim panel.
