amp question

This
Rockford amps are expensive but easily do more than rated
I agree but kicker is underrated too 3000 from the kicker and 4000 from the two rockfords since u don't have a complete doubling of power u won't notice a 1000 watt change humans hear in 3 db increments by rule of thumb every doubling of power results in a 3 db increase that's why someone with 6 12s could hit a 153 and someone with 12 12s and doubling of wattage would only hit a 156

Im running 2 18 dc xl woofers and i belive with the kicker 2500 it was somewhere in the 147's range but thats at 35hz so I should be right at like a 148-149ish db with the rockfords and yes I have very good electrical dc power 270 xp alt, 2 big deka's, d3400 up front, and big 3 done......voltage only droped to 14.1 with the kicker 2500 which we all know is a power hungry amp.

only real thing that made me say u might notice a difference is the constant power of the new rockford amps which give u more power at frequencies where box rise would normally diminish power on the kicker. its a really cool technology for music and it can be helpful in comp.
