amp question.

now that i have my 4 12s(4ohm each),i need an amp to run all of them.

im wiring them to 1ohm. the max on each subwoofer is 600/300RMS.

1200rms @ 1 ohm, take a look at the Hifonics Brutus line, they are cheap reliable power. Or a Sundown SAE1000 or SAZ1200 (im not sure if its out yet tho).

basically you need 1200rms @ 1 ohm, start lookin!

edit::: by 4 ohms each, do you mean SINGLE 4 ohm, or DUAL 4 ohm, easy mistake to over look for the n00bs

Gets an amp that does around 1200~ rms @ 1 ohm.

Look into the AudioQue 1200D

a DD M1a would be a nice amp or a Kicker SX 1250.1

4 4 ohm speakers can be wired down to 1 ohm? I thought 2 or 8 which is why I would suggest a Kicker zx 1500.1 It is stable at 2 ohm with that output (1500+ watts)

That is assuming they are dual voice coil subs.

EDIT: single can be done. Scratch the kicker....... get a 1600 watt Brutus or something a little over 1200 watts.

Wire it like the last one though.
