OG, still fly.
I decided to mess around with my subs today so i hooked them up and started to bump. I was messing around with the settings so i was close to the amp. Well i hear a hissing noise coming from the inside. Its not affecting the sounds in anyway but when there isnt any music going through them its a constant hiss. When i turn it up and play some music its not consistant but its still there. Its like hiss, no hiss, hiss, and no his again. It does it until i turn off the music then its consistant again. Ive never noticed this before, but again ive never got that close to my amp before. I run a lanzar mxa282 right now. Its getting consistant voltage. When its at lower volumes im getting anywhere from 14-16 and when i turn it up it gets a constant 12.5-13. Any ideas? Maybe its fine i dont know. Its not running to hot or anything and like i said the subs sounds fine, loud and at low volumes. Im pushing 2 ohms into each channel. I also have a question about batteries. Im using a toughone battery. I usually use it for the trolling motor on our boat. Wondering if this is ok to use? I also have a .5 cap hooked up.
