How does this sub and amp combo sound?

Im getting 10" RE Se series woofer and was looking at buying a Kicker zx750.1. The woofer is a dual 4 ohm so i would be wiring it down to 2 ohms at 750 watts rms. I've heard these amps are underrated so would that be too much power for a 10" se? its rated at 600 rms.

too many variables to say how it will sound. remember a huge amount of install is box dependant. andyes you can over power it, im sure the RE can take it. worst case scenario, you abuse it for a couple months and have to recone it.

meh, watch your gain and it's all good. You also need to state what you want out of this before we can say if it's a good combo or not.

mainly looking for sq. but its going in a small box with .6 cu ft of space.

I don't think you even need that much power for SQ. I don't know if that's the recommended space for it, but it's best if you can build a box that gives it the right amount of airspace

no thats the box im using. limited space in the rear of a camaro and im not putting in a huge box.

would the alpine mrp-m650 be a better amp. it does 600 rms at 2 ohms. and thats what the sub is rated at.

I don't want to put a box in my t-top well, because i want to keep my t top holders in and don't want the extra weight. Thats why im getting the stealth box, as they call it.
