I currently have an mtx thunder 801d that is 400x1 at 4 ohms and 800x1 at 3 ohms. If i get a jl 10w7 that is 500w rms at 3 ohms would this amp work?, also about how much power would this amp put out at 3 ohms

you mean 800x1 at 2 omh?

youll probable get about 400watts to that woofer.

yea my bad i meant 800 at 2 ohms, so u think i would get the same amount of power at 3 ohms that i would at 4 ohms
