Since im only running 160watts rms to my type-r should i put my gain and bass to the max for each to get the most bass out of my sub? Right now the bass is full and the gain is 3/4 max and it seems to be alright, dont think im doing anything bad to it or anything. The amp is an old Phoenix gold M25.

Man this is so confusing, i still have no idea what to do. Expecially when it talked about the bridging stuff which my amp is. I can get a Digital multimeter but i need help figuring this out. Its a Phoenix Gold M25 and puts out 140rms brigded 2ohms. Cant someone just tell me a voltage its supposed to be at? Is this correct that once i do the little problem and find the voltage then i just turn the gain up and the voltage will go up on the multimeter.

Alright i somewhat have been reading and i tried using this little formula, Sqrt(Power*Resistance) = Voltage. I wasnt sure what ohm i was suppose to use so i did 2 ohms, so 2x160=320 and square root of that is 17.89, so on my multimeter it should read 17.89 volts?
